Kremlin: Russia needs customers to restart Nord Stream pipelines
MOSCOW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- Russia needs clients to restart pumping through the Nord Streams gas pipelines, spokesman for the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday, when Reuters reported that German insurers Allianz and Munich Re had resumed insurance coverage of the link after September blasts.
"Supplies are restarted when there is not only a seller, but also a buyer," Peskov said.
Peskov said that Russia is convinced that the Nord Streams pipelines are extremely important for Europe's energy security and that a transparent investigation of the attack on the pipelines with participation of all interested sides must be fulfilled.
